Gordon Gould developed the concept of the first laser in 1957, but a working laser was not developed until the early 1950's.  Over the last 40 years lasers have become an integral part of daily life. We use laser in surgery, to listen to our favorite music CD's, communicate with the world around us, measure distance, temperature and speed.  The most intersting concepts of laser energy is definitely in the area of improving the body's ability to heal, repair tissue and restore neurological function.  Beams of light produced by laser penerate deep into the skin to increase blood flow, normalize cellular response, and stimulate the production of energy to promote faster and natural healing.
